Class Information








Classes are conducted by Jeremy Eichelberger, and are currently held in rural Middletown, Pennsylvania.
Class sizes are limited to allow for a more thorough interaction between instructor and student.
Free on-site parking is available for all class participants.

Currently Available Classes
2 Day Bladesmithing Class
In this intensive 2-day knife making class, students will learn the skills of a bladesmith and cutler. Blades will be forged, heat treated, and polished before being fitted with wooden handle scales. All of the core aspects of the art of knife making are covered, as well as the use of tools and equipment unique to the craft.

1 Day Knife Making Class

A single day knifemaking class with a focus on forging and hot work. In this introductory class, students forge their own camp, hunting, or tactical knife with a paracord handle wrap. The basics of forging, grinding, heat treating, polishing, and sharpening are covered, along with several variations of cord wrapping techniques.

3 Day Damascus Knife Class
Learn the art and science of pattern welded steel in this intensive, 3 day damascus knife making course. Students will create their own billet of pattern welded damascus steel, and forge the created material into a completed knife. The class completes with the final polishing and assembly of the blade and grip material.

While this is the most comprehensive knife making class presently available, no prior experience is required.
